children's welfare clinics Building design 2008
Children's welfare clinics provide services for children under school age and their families. The work forms include health check-ups and examinations,
vaccinations and individual health guidance given at the clinic or by telephone as well as home visits and small-group activities. The aim of the child welfare clinic is to ensure as good health as possible for each child and to promote the wellbeing of the whole family. The goal is to promote healthy lifestyles in the family and to identify and remove,
whenever possible, the obstacles to the child’s healthy development. The work at the child welfare clinic is individual, family-centred and confidential.
